    1. The ‘Scratch to Win’ promotion comprises a Scratch to Win ‘Discount Offer’ with spend over £100 and automatic entry into a prize draw for the ‘Ultimate Salon’ worth up to £4,500.

  • Entry is open to residents of the UK (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) aged 18+ except employees (and their immediate families) of Christies Direct Ltd. and any other companies associated with the Competition.
  • To claim a Scratch to Win ‘Discount Offer’ entrants must have placed an order value costing £100.00 (or Euro equivalent) or more from 3rd January to 31st January 2025. (“Qualifying Purchase”). Christies Direct reserves the right to close this offer at any time upon reasonable notice.
  • This is possible by filling in the form on christiesdirect.com.com/offers and Scratching the virtual card which will select discount at random of either 5%, 10% or 15%. Our Customer Care team can do this for you via telephone. There is no charge to register for use of this website. Discount claims are limited to one discount claimed per customer/per account in any one session during the promotional event (3rd January to 31st January 2025).
  • For Scratch to Win ‘Discount Offer’ entrants must visit christiesdirect.com.com/offers and enter their details (full name and email address). One entry per person, per session with a minimum spend of £100. For the avoidance of doubt, one entry denoted by a unique name and email address will be accepted per account. Any person or household found to be using software or auto submissions will be disqualified.
  • Your Scratch to Win ‘Discount Offer’ will be selected at random each using the Scratch-to-win interface. Winners will be notified instantly on the promotional page when they enter and must redeem their reward within 2hrs, or the code may become invalid. Winners may also be announced via Christies Direct marketing channels and will be notified by email before a letter of prize confirmation/prize is sent out. If you do not consent to your name being published on the Christies Direct Facebook page if you win a prize, please email marketing@christiesdirect.com when entering the Competition. All successful entries will go into a final prize draw to win the headline prize: ‘Ultimate Salon’. The winner of this prize will be chosen at random in due course following the end of the Promotional period.
  • No purchase is necessary to gain free entry to the prize draw for the Scratch to Win ‘Discount Offer’ email marketing@christiesdirect.com with the subject Scratch to Win Salon Free Entry with your name, email and telephone number.

  • No responsibility is accepted for any incomplete, ineligible entries (which may be disqualified at the Promoter's discretion) or entries which fail to arrive if requested.
  • Bulk entries made from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. If it becomes apparent that a participant is using a computer(s) and or software to circumvent this condition by, for example, the use of ‘script’, ‘brute force’ or any other automated means, that person’s entries will be disqualified, and any prize award will be void.
  • There are no cash or other alternatives in whole or in part to the stated prizes and unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Promoter, the prizes will only be awarded directly to the winners.
  • The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize of equal or greater value in the event of unavailability due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control.
  • The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries including but not limited to asking for address and identity details (which they must provide within 14 days) and refuse to award a prize or withdraw prize entitlement and disqualify the participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or any instructions forming part of this promotion’s entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the promotion or won using fraudulent means. The Promoter will be the final arbiter in any decisions, and these will be binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • Please allow up to 28 days for delivery of prizes from the date of winner confirmation.
  • Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winners. If the winner cannot be contacted within 7 days of notification or is unable to comply with these terms and conditions, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant drawn at random. The Promoter will have final discretion on all elements and aspects of how the prize is organised and distributed. Once the prize details including the agreed details are confirmed, this cannot be amended or altered by the winner.
  • In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or computer) affects the proper operation of this promotion, and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion or these terms and conditions, at any stage, but will always endeavour to minimise the effect to participants in order to avoid disappointment.
  • Insofar as permitted by law and without prejudice to entrants’ statutory rights, the Promoter cannot accept any responsibility and exclude all liability for any damage, loss or injury suffered by any entrant entering the promotion or as a result of accepting or participating in any prize. Nothing in these Entry Terms and Conditions shall exclude or limit the Promoter for death or personal injury as a result of their negligence or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
  • The rules of the Competition are subject to the legal and regulatory restrictions imposed under the laws of England and Wales and Northern Ireland the parties to any dispute or action shall submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Northern Ireland courts.
  • Your name and address will be retained by the Promoter and used in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018. Your personal details will not be passed onto third parties except as set out in clause 6 above. You may be contacted by the Promoter unless you opt out of further communications. By submitting an entry, you consent to the Promoter processing and using your data for the purposes of administering the Competition.
  • The name and counties of the winners will be available by sending an email to marketing@christiesdirect.com which will be available after 18/06/24 for 6 weeks. If you do not consent to your name being made available if you win a Prize, please email marketing@christiesdirect.com when entering the Competition.

  • The Promoter cannot be held responsible for any third-party products or services. To report any technical faults, issues with prizes please contact support@christiesdirect.com.
  • By accepting a prize, the winner agrees to release and hold harmless the Promoter and their subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, agencies and each of their respective parent companies and each such company's officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively, the "Released Parties") from and against any claim or cause of action, including, but not limited to, damage to or loss of property, arising out of participation in the promotion or receipt of, use or misuse of any prize.
  • The Released Parties are not responsible for:
    1. Any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, typing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in the Competition.
    2. Technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software failures of any kind including any injury or damage to any person's computer account resulting from participating in this Competition, or mis transcribed data;
    3. Unauthorised human intervention or human error which may occur in any part of the entry process or the process for allocating the prize(s);
    4. Technical or human error which may occur in the administration of competition or the processing of entries;
    5. Late, lost, undeliverable, damaged or stolen correspondence; or Any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from participant's participation in the Competition or receipt or use or misuse of any prize. If for any reason an entrant's entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, the entrant's sole remedy is another entry in the Competition, if it is possible. Nothing in this section shall exclude or limit the Released Parties' liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability the exclusion or limitation of which is prohibited by law.
  • Use of a false name or email address will result in disqualification.
  • All entries must be made directly by the person entering the Competition.
  • Entries from agents, third parties, organised groups or entries automatically generated by computer or completed in bulk, will not be accepted. No incomplete or corrupted entries will be accepted. Entries will only be accepted if they comply with these terms and conditions.
  • No responsibility can be accepted for entries or claims that are not submitted on time or in full, lost, mislaid, damaged, or delayed via e-mail/phone, regardless of cause, including, but not limited to, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind, or corrupted webpages.
  • The winners and their companions are responsible for any expenses which may be incurred by the winners in claiming any prize.
  • The Promoter's decision is final in relation to promotional matters and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
  • In the event of a discrepancy between these terms and conditions and the details in the promotional material, these terms shall prevail.
  • The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries including but not limited to asking for address and identity details and to refuse to award a prize or withdraw prize entitlement and/or refuse further participation in the promotion and disqualify the participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe:
    1. there has been a breach of the set terms and conditions;
    2. there has been a breach of any law; or
    3. there has been a breach of any instructions forming part of this promotion's entry requirements or otherwise;
    4. a participant has gained an unfair advantage in participating in the promotion or won using fraudulent means;
    5. an entry infringes any right; or
    6. the participant's conduct is contrary to the spirit or the intention of the Competition.
  • Except to the extent that the Promoter is prevented by law from doing so and unless you have indicated that you do not consent to your personal data being made available if you win a prize, a list of winners will be available by emailing marketing@christiesdirect.com unless otherwise stated, after the close of the Competition and for a period of 6 weeks. Only the first name, surname and county of the winners will be disclosed.
  • If any provision of these Terms and Conditions (or any part thereof) is held to be invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions (or part thereof) will remain in full force and effect.
  • Data Protection: Where you participate in a Competition, your personal data shall be processed in accordance with our Privacy Statement available here christiesdirect.com/terms-and-conditions. By submitting an entry, the participant acknowledges that the processing of his/her personal data is necessary for the Promoter to fulfil its obligations to the participant in respect of the Competition and to enable you to enter the Competition, visit and use the Promotor’s Website and/or to claim any prize you may win. You confirm and warrant that all data provided by you for these purposes are accurate. If the participant exercises his/her right to object to the processing of such personal data with the consequence that it is not possible to administer the Competition in respect of that participant, his/her participation may be cancelled.
